x0xb0x #725 is finished! Neither Fry’s nor Radioshack had those 0.033µF capacitors I needed, so I stole some from x0xb0x #727

Pulled an all-nighter. VCF is done except for the 3 capacitors.
TODO: Pots, buttons, LEDs.
Soon it will be alive!

Everything in the analog section done besides VCF (still waiting on those 0.033uF caps). Sort of starting on the sequencer section, sort of…
I signed the board because one day I’ll be famous and my signed x0xb0xes will be prized possessions…
…or it’s just a handy way to keep track of where my creations travel once they (inevitably) get sold!

I decided to do the power and I/O board sections together in one fell swoop. However, I didn’t put in R16 until I could be sure whether my x0x would be affected by the MIDI bug or not. So I soldered everything up and hoped for the best.

The build of x0xb0x #725 has now started! I went through the x0xb0x_bom and it seems that I have a parts problem…

I’ve always wanted cool t-shirts. The problem was that all the commercial “cool” nerdy shirts had pretty boring (and questionable) content and I had a lot of better ideas! Making my own shirts would be possible, but didn’t have the money/motivation/etc. for screen printing equipment. A few months ago, I stumbled upon a post on the Make blog about DIY shirts using freezer paper as a stenciling method. Awesome!
