I am a sysadmin by trade, but I don’t like to confine myself to a particular job role. Learning is one my main passions and I apply it to all aspects of my life, from my personal projects to my profession. When I discover a new interest, my main strategy is to dive right in and absorb as much information as I can find. The sources I use range from preliminary online research, to books, and finally classes/seminars.
A wide spectrum of skills and experience (including basic sysadmin tasks, VoIP, security, hardware, and electronics) enables me to “wear many hats”. Research is one of my strengths, as it allowed me to familiarize myself with new topics rapidly. Due to this, one of my strong skills is technical writing, aimed at both a technical and non-technical audience.
For more details, including contact information, please see my résumé.
My hobbies include hardware hacking/design, electronic music, synthesizers/drum machines/musical hardware, and vintage mopeds (not scooters!).
